Short description

DEADWATT is a cartoon co-op zombie shooter for 1 to 6 players. You hold the barricades against rounds of zombies, mutants and aliens, earn gold, open up the map and try to get out alive: by chopper, by rocket, or off the Moon.

About the game

Each of the three maps ends with an escape. Dead End is a flooded city at night where you fix a searchlight and call a chopper. Frostpeak Silo is a rocket base in the Arctic, overrun by mutants. Starfall is a base on the Moon, full of aliens, where you put a rocket back together to fly home.

Rounds get harder, bosses show up on set rounds, and the gold you earn goes into guns, perks, traps and the Lucky Chest. Round 30 is the last stand before the escape, and you can keep going in endless mode after it. Twist rounds, a daily run and a new Weekly challenge every week keep runs from feeling the same.

DEADWATT is made by one developer. It started under the name Last Light and was renamed in 2026.

Free spots

The first 1,000 players get the game for free. Each PC claims a spot the first time the game starts, so the counter on the website is real. When DEADWATT comes out on Steam (planned price €10), the free version keeps working without further updates, and the first 25 players get the Steam version for free.
